Aga Khan Health Services-Afghanistan (AKHS-A) is a private, not-for-profit health organization established in 2003 as part of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). It delivers health services primarily on behalf of the Afghan government, including the Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) and Essential Package of Hospital Services (EPHS). Operating in five provinces (Bamyan, Baghlan, Badakhshan, Kabul, Takhar), AKHS-A provides primary and secondary healthcare, preventive and curative care, nursing and midwifery education, and hospital management. It also implements innovations such as e-health, e-learning, cross-border arrangements, and net-zero greenhouse gas initiatives.

Job Description:

  • Prepare breakfast for employees when needed.
  • Plan meal preparation according to requirements.
  • Accurately record consumed and purchased supplies.
  • Keep the entire kitchen and its exterior clean.
  • Strictly observe cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Wash dishes and kitchen utensils.
  • Daily cleaning of office departments and the kitchen.
  • Assist the cook in all tasks, including cleaning, transporting food to the dining hall, kitchen sanitation, washing dishes, etc.
  • Properly and daily clean the office restrooms.
  • Wash bed sheets, linens, and iron items such as quilts, blankets, and comforters as needed.
  • Daily clean the desks/offices of departments.
  • Properly and professionally maintain office property and supplies, and manage consumables.
  • Follow security instructions as per given guidelines and respect employees.
  • Daily deliver tea to offices.

Job Requirements:

  • At least graduated from 12th grade (12 passes).

Having a certificate in areas related to the duties of a cleaner is considered an advantage.
