About Scholarship

The Kazakhstan Government Scholarship for the academic years 2026-2027 is considered one of the best educational opportunities for international students, especially students from Afghanistan. Every year, the Government of Kazakhstan offers 550 scholarships for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs. Among these, 490 seats are allocated for Bachelor’s degrees, 50 seats for Master’s degrees, and 10 seats for PhD programs. Expenses Not Covered by the Scholarship

• Student accommodation; In many cases, dormitory or accommodation expenses are not fully covered, and students may need to pay for housing themselves.
• Health insurance; Medical or health insurance costs are usually the responsibility of the student.
• Travel expenses; Airfare and transportation costs from Afghanistan to Kazakhstan and back are not covered by the scholarship and must be paid by the student.
