Opportunity Description
The Turkish Government scholarship, also known as TÜRKİYE
BURSLARI, is a completely free scholarship (full fund) that attracts talented
foreign students every year in order to familiarize foreign students with the
language, culture, and customs of Turkey. In the level of bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in
various fields of study, including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, economics,
computer science and engineering, humanities, etc.
The Turkish government scholarship is offered in 112 top
universities in Turkey, which covers most of the fields of study. Turkey's
government scholarship has set two conditions for attracting foreign students:
age and percentage of grades.

Turkish government scholarship age requirement for 2024
Age requirement
1.
For bachelor and medical degrees, the applicant must be born after 11th January 2002 (less than 21 years old)

2.
For the master's degree, the applicant must be born
after 11, January 1994 (less than 30)
3.
For the doctoral degree, the applicant must be born
after 11 January 1990 (less than 35)
Note: Having IELTS or TOEFL certificates is not mandatory, but if you have it,
it is considered an advantage.

Documents required to register for the free Turkish
scholarship
1.
A valid identification document (receipt) or a valid
passport
2.
New photo of the volunteer
3.
Graduation certificate or its temporary certificate
(from high school to the last academic year)
4.
Academic transcripts (from high school to the last
academic year)
5.
The score of participation in the concour exam for
candidates who participated in the concour (optional)
6.
The score of international tests such as (GRE, GMAT,
DELF, YDS, YÖS) if available. (Having these documents will increase your
chances of acceptance and it is not required)
7.
Scores of foreign language tests, if any (providing a
language certificate is not required, and having it will increase your chances
of acceptance)
8.
Presenting proposals for master's and doctoral degrees
9.
The motivation letter should contain at least 500
words
10. Two letters of
recommendation (for bachelor's, master's and doctoral candidates)
11. Submit a CV or
resume
12. If there is,
presentation of commendation certificate, article, book, patent certificate and
other scientific, sports, artistic honors, etc., to increase the chances of
acceptance.

Turkish government
scholarship coverage period:
1.
Bachelor's degree: 4 to 6 years (according to the
field of study) + 1 year of Turkish language training

training

Doctoral level: 4 years + 1 year of Turkish language
training
