Opportunity Description
In order to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship
between the Chinese people and peoples of the world, and promote exchanges and
cooperation between China and other countries in various fields, the Chinese
government provides scholarships to outstanding students and scholars studying
at Chinese universities .Provides and aims for higher education. Conducting education and research.
Chinese’s Scholarship Categories
CSC Scholarship Divided in Four Categories
1.
Bilateral Scholarship Program
This program is consistent with cooperation and exchange
agreements or agreements concluded between the Chinese government and other
countries' governments and institutions. Open to undergraduate students,
graduate students, and general public and experienced researchers.
2.
University Scholarship Program
This program is designed to fund the study in China of
talented international students who are directly selected and recommended by
carefully selected universities in China. The categories of students we support
are diverse and vary depending on each university's requirements.
3.
Designated Scholarship Program
These programs are established pursuant to cooperation
agreements between China and international organizations and organizations. Applicants
must submit their applications to the relevant international organizations and
agencies.
4.
Student Exchange Scholarship Program
The program was launched under an exchange and cooperation
agreement between Chinese universities and foreign partners and aims to support
general and experienced scientists with training sessions of no more than 12
months.

Eligibility
1.
Be a citizen of a country other than China and be in
good physical and mental health.
2.
If you are applying for an undergraduate degree
course, you must be under 25 years of age and have a university degree or equivalent
qualification in academic standing.
3.
If you are applying for a master's degree program, you
must be under the age of 35, have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and be in
good academic standing.
4.
If you are applying for a doctoral program, you must
be under 40 years old, have a master's degree or equivalent degree, and be in
excellent academic standing.
5.
If you are applying to the Advanced Scholars Program,
you must be a master's degree holder or associate professor (or above) under
the age of 50.
6.
If you are applying for a Bachelor's or General
Studies program in Chinese, you must have passed the HSK (Level 3) (excluding
the Chinese core subject).
7.
I applied for the Chinese Advanced Scholars Program
and passed the HSK (Level 3).
8.
If you are applying to a Chinese graduate program, you
must have passed the HSK (Level 4).
9.
Meet the entrance requirements of your desired
university in terms of language and academic ability, even if you are applying
for a course taught in a language other than Chinese
10. If you are applying
to a general education program, you must be under the age of 45 and have a high
school diploma (or higher).
Document
Requirements
1.
Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form
(completed online);
2.
Scanned copy of passport information page. Applicants
must submit a clear, scanned copy of the information page of their unexpired
passport by March 1, 2024.Please renew your passport if you do not meet the
requirements.
3.
Applicants who have failed to apply for a passport for
objective reasons may, with the approval of the authority responsible for the
application, submit a valid document containing information on the applicant's
full name in English, gender, nationality and date of birth. Or you can submit
supporting documents.
4.
Diplomas and certificates (notarized copies). Applicants
who are currently enrolled in a university must submit a university-issued
proof of degree completion or proof of enrollment.
5.
Transcript. Transcripts in languages other than
Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized translation in Chinese or
English. Certificate of language proficiency. When applying for a Chinese
course, applicants must submit a valid HSK performance report that corresponds
to the language proficiency of the course. When applying to programs taught in
a language other than Chinese, applicants must submit proof of language
proficiency as required by the designated university, such as: B.IELTS or TOEFL
test report.
6.
Admission documents. When applying for a graduate
program or academic training as a general fellow or senior fellow, applicants
must submit admission documents issued by the University of their Choice, such
as an admission letter, a pre-admission letter, or a letter of invitation from
