Opportunity Description
HSSP Support for Afghan Refugees in
Pakistan aims to strengthen the regional stability in Pakistan-Afghanistan
through extensive education: by providing long-term support to young, talented
students from Afghanistan who are registered as refugees in Pakistan and
enrolled at Pakistani universities.
HSSP includes around 30 financial
grants positions per year for Afghan students for the duration of their
academic studies up to the completion of their current Bachelor's or Master's
degree.
Note: Female
and transgender Afghan refugee students are strongly encouraged to apply.

Benefit of HSSP Scholarship
The HSSP support the following cost
1. Living costs
2. Academic fees
3. Stationery
4. Books, etc.
5. Scholarship grant of currently 33,000.00 PKR monthly per student
6. One laptop per scholarship recipient for academic purposes (must be
returned to HSF before the end of the funding period)
7. Numerous HSSP trainings, events and activities as conceptual support
8. On-the-job trainings to prepare Afghan refugee students for future
professions in their home country
9. All these benefits usually continue until the completion of the
currently pursued degree program
Documents Requirement
a) A cover letter Maximum in TWO PAGE
b) A short CV with relevant information IN ONE PAGE
c) A brief letter of support from an academic advisor MAXIMUM TWO
PAGE WITH UNIVERSITY LETTERHEAD
d) One formal passport size picture
e) A scan of your POR card along with original Proof of Verification from
NADRA
f) A scan of your matriculation and intermediate certificates
g) Proof of enrollment in any HEC-recognized university of Pakistan
h) Transcripts of previous semesters

contributions to the refugee community in Pakistan
VII.
Social multiplier roles:
promoting dialogue through interaction in networks
VIII.
Willingness to engage in
democratic, academic and professional training activities organized by HSF
Pakistan, National Dialogue Forum and their partners
IX.
Interest to prepare and
attend relevant national and international events on regional stability
