About
The German Academic Exchange Agency (DAAD) runs the Hilde Domin Programme. The number of scholarships that DAAD can award is limited. Candidates for this course should only be recommended to those who are at risk and have good academic prospects to study in Germany.
A scholarship program funded by the Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs (AA). The purpose of this program is to assist undergraduate and graduate students around the world who have been formally or effectively denied an education or other rights in their country of origin, and to encourage these undergraduate and graduate students to continue their studies or enter university. It is about graduating or providing the opportunity to graduate. He holds a research degree from a German university. Students and doctoral students who are nominated and accepted within the framework of the program receive scholarships for their chosen course, depending on their personal qualifications.

Who are eligible for this Scholarship?
Those student who are at risk of formal or de facto denial of education and other rights in their country of origin because of their ethnic, sexual, gender, religious identity and their political or civic involvement; students and PhD students from around the world.

Application procedure
A.
Candidates cannot apply to participate in the Hilde Domin Program on their own, but are nominated by management.
B.
Suitable candidates will be contacted by the DAAD and invited to apply via the DAAD's online application portal. Application documents submitted by applicants will be checked by the DAAD for completeness and formal accuracy.
C.
The final selection of candidates will be made by an independent selection committee established by the DAAD. Both risk status and academic performance are assessed as part of the selection process.
D.
There is no advantage in having multiple nominations
