Zanjan University is a government university
that is located in Zanjan city (Iran) currently, this university has 6 faculties,
235 faculty members and more than ten thousand students. Abdus-Salam ICTP –IASBS
support a limited number of scholarships for Afghan student interesting applying
for master's degree.
Objective
a. Cultivating talents through education and scientific research in order
to help equip and provide the expert human resources needed by the country
b. Creating research facilities in order to identify unknown potential
factors and to increase scientific ability in the field of various sciences

Admission requirement
a.
Candidate must completed their
bachelor degree in basic science or in related fields
b.
At least 19 years old and an
average of 18 in the secondary high school to enter the continuous doctoral
course in physics
c.
At least 25 years old and
grade of 14 out of 20 of bachelor degree to enter in master degree
d.
At least have 27 years old
and grade 15 out of 20 in master degree to enter in doctoral
There are three type of scholarship
First; Abdus-Salam ICTP -IASBS scholarship,
this is just for afghan students, Zanjan, in collaboration with the AbdusSalam
Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy.
