Opportunity Description
The
Islamic Development Bank has announced the awarding of a number of scholarships
for members and Muslim countries in undergraduate, master's, doctorate and
post-doctorate degrees for the academic year 2024-2025. Interested
candidates for the programs must submit their applications later on 20 April
2024.

countries: Citizens of Islamic Development Bank member countries such as Afghanistan,

Scholarship Requirement
Ø
Maximum age be 24 years
Ø Having the academic requirements to
enroll in any of the desired courses
Ø Minimum GPA of 70 out of 100 or 14 out of
20
Ø Having English language qualifications
such as TOEFL and IELTS
Ø Having physical health and performing
medical examinations after being accepted by the bank
Ø Not using any other scholarship while
using the Islamic Development Bank scholarship
Ø Having a work or research experience
related to the field of study for the doctoral degree, as well as applicants
for the post-doctoral scholarship, must have at least two years of related
experience in the field of study for the doctoral degree, and scientific and
research articles and research in the same field of study, in publications
validly published.
Ø Not living in a country other than
his/her home country.
Ø Endorsed by the local NGO partner through
the IsDB selection procedures.
Ø Committed to returning to his/her home
country on completion of the study under the Program to contribute to its
development
Ø Not a beneficiary of any other
scholarship at the time of application and during studies.
Important Note: It is recommended that students get admission from a top university in
their country in the fields approved by the Islamic Development Bank, and if
they do not have access to it, they can get admission from universities that
are parties to the agreement of the Islamic Development Bank.
Scholarship Benefit
1. Payment of the entire tuition fee through
the bank to the university
2. Payment of student's living and
accommodation expenses according to the country of study
3. Monthly Stipend
4. Payment of student's medical expenses
5. Payment of round-trip tickets, as well as
expenses related to student participation in scientific programs and
conferences, from the IsDB.
The scholarship not cover the below expense;

Visa application fee
·
The IsDB will not cover the family expense
·
Extracurricular courses and training
·
Educational equipment such as computer
·
Resident permit fee
·
Language courses
·
Additional travel during the study
·
Expenses related to research, supplementary
educational materials, field trips, participation in workshops/seminars,
exchange programs, conferences, or internships.
