About

The Swiss Confederation awards excellent government grants annually to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and more than 180 other countries. Scholarship holders are selected by the awarding body, the Commonwealth International Student Scholarships Commission

The Commonwealth Excellence Grant is intended for young overseas researchers with a Master's or Ph.D. degree and foreign artists with a bachelor degree

Types of Scholarship

Research Scholarship: Research grants are available to postgraduate researchers from all disciplines who plan to come to Switzerland for research or further study at doctoral or postdoc level.

Art Scholarship: Art grants are awarded for study at all Swiss conservatories and art schools. This scholarship is only available for students in limited countries

Require documents

If you apply for Swiss scholarship must submit the following documents

1. All your academic document (diploma and transcript)

2. Research proposal

3. Motivation letter at least 1000 words

4. Resume-CV

5. Tow reference

6. Forms

7. Support letter

8. English proficiency Certificates (TOEFL, ILETS)

9. Valid passport (identity Card)

10. Photo Size of Passport (4*4)

The applicant gain the scholarship for three following details

1. Have good profile

2. Quality of good research project and artist works

3. Have energy for further research cooperation

Awards

The final result will be announce by the end of May 2034
