Financial Benefits
If you are selected for the Monash Humanitarian Scholarship, here is what your funding package includes:
- 100% of international student course fees paid for the standard duration of your undergraduate degree.
- An allowance of $6,000 per year (48 credit points of study) until the minimum credit points for your degree are completed.
- Total allowance value of up to $30,000 across your degree.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Monash Humanitarian Scholarship, you must meet all of the following requirements:
You must be an International student currently in Australia on one of the following visas:
- Temporary Humanitarian Stay visa (Subclass 449)
- Temporary Protection visa (Subclass 785)
- Temporary Humanitarian Concern visa (Subclass 786)
- Safe Haven Enterprise visa (Subclass 790)
- Bridging visa A (Subclass 010) or E (Subclass 050 and 051) AND have applied for a Permanent Protection visa
- Must be enrolled or intending to enroll in an undergraduate degree at Monash University or a Monash College Foundation Year/Diploma.
- Have achieved a minimum ATAR of 70.00, or for current students, a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 60.
How to Apply
If you are interested in applying for the Monash Humanitarian Scholarship, follow the process that applies to your student type:
- VTAC Applicants: You will be automatically considered if you apply for the VTAC Equity Scheme (SEAS) between 4 August and 10 October 2026. You must list a Monash course as at least one of your preferences.
- Non-VTAC & Current Students: Apply directly to Monash and complete a separate application form. You must receive an offer or be enrolled by 19 June 2026.
